Green Theatre Uncovered:
THE LION KING

Congratulations one and all! The Lion King was great!

Director's Notes:

KES Green Theatre was inspired by ‘Chickenshed’, a drama company in England whose philosophy set us on a journey to create our own inclusive performing arts environment for students from both our mainstream and special needs departments.

Today’s presentation of scenes from The Lion King is our way of showing you what we have been doing throughout the year, and to prove that drama is truly for anyone and everyone.

This is our first year performing together, and we are all learning as we go along, including myself. Some scenes are more polished than others, hence this is a work-in-progress, but the students are delighted to show off their wonderful talents for you today.

Enjoy the show, and enter … the Circle of Life.
