Many people cannot attend our full 5-month 'Discipleship Training School' (DTS). So we are now offering the same DTS content in seminar/retreat format, so that many more people can take advantage of it.
Below are examples of topics from our DTS. Ideally, they are conducted as a 4-day full-time live-in seminar, but it can also be run as a day-time seminar for 4 days or in a shorter form over a weekend. Where possible, we like to integrate Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation & Adoration, as a part of the seminar.
We look forward to doing more of these kind of seminars & retreats. If you are interested in hosting one for your group/ area, please contact us.
Inner Healing - The 'Divine Plumbline' Seminar
One of the programs that we offer is called 'The Divine Plumbline Seminar', which is a program for inner-healing. This is usually one of the topics offered during our 'Discipleship Training School' (D.T.S.), which we would like to offer to a wider group. It is often one of the most powerful weeks during the D.T.S., which addresses deep heart issues and which God often uses to work significantly in people's lives.
Some of the areas covered through this teaching are: how our personalities develop, strengths & weaknesses of our personalities, how we seek for love in the wrong places; understanding how our sinful nature works, how we can co-operate with God in His work of healing & deliverance in our lives, crucifying the flesh & living by the Spirit; how do we build our lives together with God etc

The Father Heart of God
This is another very important topic that God uses, to deeply impact the lives of the partcipants of our DTS's. Jesus came to reconcile us to the Father. Eternal life is 'knowing the Father' (Jn.17: 3). Yet many Christians find it difficult to relate to the Father or have a close relationship with Him.
Through this teaching, our relationship with our earthly fathers & mothers is explored and the participants are helped to see how these relationships often influence our relationship with our heavenly Father. In a safe & confidential environment, participants are encouraged to extend forgiveness and allow God's healing in areas of woundedness. False beliefs about the character of the Father are identified & repented of. Participants are encouraged to hold together the twin truths of honouring our authority figures, while at the same time being honest & real about how they have affected us. The past is dealt with, in light of the Cross and with the grace, love & forgiveness of God, so that participants can enter the future with greater freedom in relating to their heavenly Father.

Discipling the Nations
We understand what it means to disciple individuals, but what did Jesus mean when he commanded us to 'go & make disciples of all nations'? How do we see cities & nations transformed? How does the 'Kingdom of God' grow in a country? How do we evangelise cultures?
These are some of the questions answered through the teaching on this topic. Through Scriptures & Church teaching, Catholics are guided in understanding that God is concerned about all of life. Every Catholic has a missionary call by virtue of his/her baptism and we are all called to be active in the vineyard of the Lord. Every Catholic has a vocation/ calling from the Lord, to live out this missionary calling in various spheres of society. No one is excluded from an opportunity to serve the Lord. In this sense, every one is called to full-time service/ ministry. These are some of the points brought up during the teaching. Times of discussion & application enable the participants to deeper their understanding & application of these truths to their own lives. Each one is encouraged to seek the Lord in order to discover His calling on their life.
