So come on in and make yourself comfortable... Hi. I'm Kerry Denney, a 30-year veteran performing guitarist, songwriter, recording session artist, and writer. I'm passionate about many things in life, and reflect that in my work. With joy, determination, and a touch of madness (okay, malicious glee), I write reality-bending thrillers, even when the voices don't make me do it. They all have a surreal, bizarre, supernatural, or paranormal element primary to the plot, and are all character-driven. My protagonists are my children, and I love them as dearly as I despise my antagonists. Even when I have to kill them. My friends say that if I were rich, I'd be eccentric, but since I'm not rich, I'm just freakin' crazy. Sometimes I do cackle... I'm proud to announce that I have just won First Place in the Atlanta Writers Club Fall 2009 Contest for Light Poetry for my entry On the Corner! (link coming shortly or click on it under Poetry Contest winner in the sidebar!) Snoopy-dance with me... Currently, I have four novels ready for publication, with viewing dates for three chapters of my fifth novel Soulsnatcher listed on the sidebar under "What's Happening Now?" with the links to the sites. I'm presently shopping for an agent for my fourth novel Dreamweavers. These are legitimate publications, so read them and be sure and leave me some groovy feedback, baby, so agents and publishers will want to snatch me up so I can get them published and out there to you! I live near Stone Mountain, Georgia with my faithful friend and invaluable assistant Holly Jolly. That's her in the photo on the left. No, not the right; that's me. Yes, it's all real. I grew it myself. The photo was taken in late 2008, only a little over a year ago when I was still a spry and agile 47. Would somebody tell me where the time goes? Holly aspires to be a Happy Tails dog. Happy Tails is an Atlanta-based non-profit organization that arranges visits to hospitals, retirement homes, and special needs children with their member dogs and their owners. She's been working hard on her training and obedience so she can pass the test when she takes it in January. We enjoy a whole host of outdoor activities, but we especially love playing tennis ball fetch in the lake. I'm pretty certain Holly is an amphibian. Feel free to leave me questions.
