Cara Luft
A powerfully elegant guitarist, Cara favours a variety of open tunings and also enjoys branching out into mandolin and clawhammer banjo. Her writing is a blend of social commentary, imagination, and rhythmic intensity, and her distinctive voice penetrates listeners to the core. In performance she balances pathos with joy, telling invariably hilarious stories between poignant songs, simultaneously managing complex retunings of her guitar.

Dana and Susan Robinson
Dana and Susan Robinson sing dust-on-the-boots vignettes of rural America. Dana delivers his lyrics with such poetic clarity as to take the audience along riding shotgun down the highway. Dana and Susan are consummate multi-instrumentalists (guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin) integrating styles from the Appalachian, Celtic, and African traditions to create a fresh and contemporary sound.

Pamela Ward
After a break from guesting on the folk circuit for several years, Pamela is now back performing at folk clubs, arts centres and festivals throughout the U.K. as well as continuing her concerts for Music In Hospitals. Her versatile, mature and melodic voice is equally suited to pure and haunting traditional songs as it is to the more gutsy blues style of Bessie Smith as she takes the audience through the gamut of emotions; from cheeky humour to passion and pathos.
