Building Community One Hour at a Time

Welcome!  The Kent Community Time Bank is coming to the banks of the Cuyahoga River in Kent, Ohio.  It is a service exchange networking organization where our members exchange services with each other hour for hour.  We are building a better community and we want you to join us!

On the surface, Time Banking simply involves spending an hour doing something for somebody in your community. That hour goes into your Time Bank account as a Time Dollar. Now, you can spend your Time Dollar to have someone in the community do something for you.  Yet, building community means so much more.
Listen to members of Lathrup Village TimeBank talk about their experiences.

On the first Friday of each month, the Kent Community Time Bank will meet for a potluck and music.  Just bring a dish to share and/or an instrument to play.  It is an opportunity to learn more about the concept of Time Banking while enjoying good food and great music.  Bring a dish or a song and earn a Time Dollar!

Where?  Roy Smith Shelter House on Middlebury Rd
                                     When?   First Fridays at 6:30PM
