So far it has been relatively good compared to last year,  temperatures for the most part of December varied between 5 deg C to 12 deg C in the daytime and dropped between minus4 deg C to plus 4 deg C during the night. There was a small fall of snow which turned to slush in the middle of December. In January, temperatures were average for the time of year. In the first part of February, 2012, Northern Ireland was 18 degrees warmer than the south east of England at night. During the day, Omagh experienced temperatures of plus 8 deg C with London not rising to more than freezing point.
