Welcome to my homepage.

I am the Keith Sykes Research Fellow in Italian Studies at Pembroke College, Cambridge. I am also an Affiliated Lecturer in the Italian department.

My research interests are mainly in the area of Chaucer and his Italian sources, especially the commentary tradition in fourteenth-century Italy. I also work on the Italian trecento, especially the work of Boccaccio as well as his subsequent reception history. I am also interested in fourteenth-century manuscript studies, both Italian and English.

I teach a range of papers for both the Italian department in the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages (Part 1, Paper ItA3/It1; It4; Part II, Paper ItC1) and the Faculty of English (Part 1, Paper 1; Part 1, Paper 6; Part 1, Paper 7 [Italian]; Part II, Paper 3).
