Raymond MacDonald is one of the sharpest younger-generation Scottish musicians to emerge in the past few years. He's in demand throughout Europe as a soloist and a bandleader.
He has worked with a comprehensive range of players including Keith Tippett, Lol Coxhill, Fred Frith, Gunther Sommer, George Lewis, Maggie Nicols, Natsuki Tamura, and David Byrne.
The duo extends the pioneering Scottish-jazz fusion developed by Ken Hyder's Talisker in the 1970s.Here are a couple of tracks.
