Sounds your child should produce correctly

     By age 2

     -all vowel sounds, /p/, /m/, /h/, /n/, /w/, and /b/

   By age 3

    -all sounds above plus /d/ and /t/

    By age 4

     -all sounds above plus /k/, /g/, and /f/

    By age 5

    -all sounds above; may still have difficulty with the following sounds: /r/, /l/, /s/, /z/, /ch/, /sh/, /ng/, /v/, and /th/*

*By 7-8 years of age, a child should produce all sounds correctly.
