SharePoint Services for Sun Java System Portal Server 7.2

My accomplishments made it possible for users to access the Sun Java System Portal Server 7.2  desktop as the common user interface for both Portal Server data and services as well as Microsoft Windows SharePoint services and data:
  • participating on an agile development team during the  feature analysis, implementation, and testing phases to quickly deliver working software prototypes (see my blog for more details).
  • authoring online help topics based on contributions from the project team, which also included verifying  task and reference information against available software builds whenever possible.
Sun Java System Portal Server 6 2004Q2 Migration Guide

The Sun Java System Portal Server 6.2 product was originally acquired from Netscape to  aggregate Web content and services for display in a  single Web browser window. The goal of the Sun Java System Portal Server 6 2004Q2 Migration Guide was to facilitate upgrades from previous releases (SunONE Portal Server 3.0 and Sun Java System Portal Server 6.0/6.1). My accomplishments made it possible to migrate customers from unsupported versions of the portal server software in a more predictable manner by:
  • cooperating with engineering and test teams to  document migration tasks from previous releases to Sun Java Sytem Portal Server 6 2004Q2 as they were being implemented and tested.
  • revising and updating migration documentation as needed based on input from field engineers and technical support after the product release.
