KebleTheology Workshops

Once a term or so for the last couple of years, Keble has been inviting a range of leading theologians to lead "workshops" on topics of wider interest, designed to serve as a kind of shop window on theology and biblical studies for anyone interested in pursuing graduate study in this area. Formats have included lectures and debates in varying degrees of formality, but always with a lively Question & Answer period at the end - and followed by a glass of wine and further opportunity to nobble the speakers!

The next workshop is scheduled for  Thursday 26th November 2009, with Prof. Frances Young (Birmingham) addressing the question, Can Biblical Scholars Pray?  See here for details and booking information.

For Hilary Term 2010, we are expecting Prof. Bruce McCormack of Princeton Theological Seminary to join us on the subject Is Barth finished? (Monday March 8th, 4.30 for 5pm).
