We are getting married at the beautiful St Lawrence Chapel. The chapel was built in 1880 by Samuel Lawrence's daughter Jane as a tribute to her family. The small stone building seats about 150 people and features a pump organ and oil lamps. Shaded by grand elm trees, the chapel sits atop a small but steep hill accessible by a trail in the woods or a set on stone stairs from the road (picture and information from the Chemung County Historical Society)
