Creating a personal page: SEE BELOW FOR CREATING A BUSINESS PAGE


  1. Begin by going to www.facebook.com
  2. Create your account by filling in the information in the Sign Up box.
      3. Fill in Security Box
4. Find Friends.  You have the option to skip this step and we recommend coming back to this.



5. Fill in profile information

  6. Join a network.  Choose whichever area/city you want to connect with.
 
7. Make sure to log into your email account and confirm your Facebook account. 
  8. To confirm your Facebook account, log into the email you provided during setup and open the messagel from Facebook titled "Facebook Account Confirmation."  Click on the link they provide which will take you to a  Facebook log in screen.  Once you log in you will get a message saying Account Confirmed.  Click Okay and click on your name.
 
9. Click on Profile (upper left toolbar) to see your page.  From here you can add friends, change your profile picture and update your status. 


CHANGING PICTURE PROFILE:

In your profile put your curser over the picture and you'll see a caption that says CHANGE PICTURE.  Click on change picture and a side box appears choose upload picture.  Browse for the picture you will add and click OK.


CREATING A BUSINESS PAGE:
1. Click Create a Page

2. Fill out the required information and use the above directions for editing profile picture, adding fans (not friends) etc.
