Kelly's Heroes RC Tank Club

This is the home page of Kelly's Heroes RC tank club.  We are a group of RC tankers that live in the San Francisco bay area.  We meet and battle our 1:15 & 1:16th scale tanks at members homes.  Our philosophy is to minimize formalities and maximize fun.  We use Tamiya compatible battle systems for our battles but welcome modelers and airsoft  tankers to enjoy what we have to offer.

After Action Report-23 Oct. 2011

The Battle site: Site DOG, AKA Weasel Works

The Battle day at Weasel Works II (WWII) battlefield in Concord this Sunday was great hit with members. The weather could not have been better. We had 21 tankers and 6 visitors. We had over twenty-five RC battle ready tanks for World War 2.  Plus Rex Ross scratch build tanks. We had 9 battles thru out the day. One battle had 12 tanks on the field at one time.  Dan “mad scientist” mounted a camera on his tank. The gunner had to wear special glasses and could see a very limit field of vision. Made battling more realistic. Some day maybe all tanks will have a camera system.
