Dessert Bars

   My Daughter's Mini Chocolate Chip Granola Bars 
 
 
INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cups flaked coconut
  • 3/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 bag miniature semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients with your hands until well blended.
  4. Press flat into the prepared pan. Sprinkle some Mini Chips on top and press.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, depending on how crunchy you want them.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes,cut into squares then let cool completely before serving.
This Make a whole 9x13 pan full
 
 
 
 
                  Rhubarb Crisp
 
 
INGREDIENTS:
  • 6 c. Rhubarb
  • 3 oz. pkg. Strawberry Jello
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • White/Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/2 c. Melted Butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 c. Water
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Spread 6 cups rhubarb in 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Sprinkle 3 oz. package strawberry Jello and 3/4 cup sugar over it.
  3. Sprinkle a dry white cake mix over the top.
  4. Drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup water over that.
  5. Bake 350 degree oven 1 hour.
