Fun Scale Event

The new date is Sunday, July 19 at 10 am.
 
This is a "fun" event using the basic MAAC rules for "Fun Scale", except that no documentation will be required.
 
This is intended to be a low key event for novices in Scale Competition.  This is a time to experience the challenges and thrills of competition in a friendly environment.
 
Entrants will have to fly a program with 11 manoeuvres, and will be judged.  Coaching will be provided.
 
The 6 mandatory manoeuvres are:  Take-off, Straight Flight, Procedure Turn, Horizontal Figure Eight, Traffic Pattern, and Landing.
 
The other 5 manoeuvres are optional, but should be suitable for the aircraft.
 
A score for "Realism" will also be given.  This represents the judges opinion of the realistic flight performance over the whole program.

FAI F4C (RC Scale) Team Trials

 

The Kawartha Lakes Fliers are honoured to host the Team Trials for the selection of the Canadian Team to represent Canada at the 2010 FAI F4C World Championship which are to be held in Poland.

 

Although this event will be held at the same time and place as Kawartha Classic Scale, August  21 to 23, it is a separate event, operated under FAI rules.  Both static and flight judging will be separate from the Kawartha Classic Scale process.  Flight rounds will be held between the rounds flown for Kawartha Classic Scale.

Precision Aerobatics Competition - 2009

At our field September 5 and 6, 2009
 
There will be championship events at three fields in the area over the summer.
