To/from. Dusseldorf International is located directly on the A 44 motorway and has its own exit. e parking rates are divided into two groups (terminal and long term). Over 350 trains, from street cars to the ICE, stop daily at the Dusseldorf Airport Station, located at the eastern end of the airport grounds.
Regional Buses. The bus station is located in front of central arrivals. The following regional buses are always in service:
- Route 760 from/to Ratingen Ost via Dusseldorf-Unterrath and Lichtenbroich stops at the central arrivals in front of the terminal.
- Route SB51 from/to Kaarst-Rathaus via Dusseldorf-Nordfriedhof, Meerbusch
- Route 721 from/to Tannenhof/Gothaer Weg via main rail station
Another bus station is located at the Düsseldorf Airport rail station. The following regional buses stop at the airport rail station:
- Route 729 from/to Theodor-Heuss-Brucke (Dusseldorf-Golzheim)
- Route 759 from/to Ratingen Ost
- Route 776 from/to Mercedesstraße (Dusseldorf-Derendorf)

To/from the airport: FRANKFURT
By Car
- Coming from the N (Kassel, Hannover), on highway A5, in the direction of Frankfurt: before you get to the junction at Frankfurter Kreuz, follow signs to Flughafen.
- Coming from the S (Basel, Karlsruhe), on highway A67: join the A5 towards Frankfurt and Frankfurter Kreuz and follow signs to Flughafen.
- Coming from the E (Munchen, Wurzburg), on highway A3, in the direction of Frankfurt: pass the junction at Frankfurter Kreuz and follow signs to Flughafen.
- Coming from the W (Cologne), on highway A3, in the direction of Frankfurt: go to the junction at Wiesbadener Kreuz, change to the A66 in the direction of Frankfurt and follow signs to Flughafen.
By train
Frankfurt Airport has two railway stations. They are linked to Term 2 via buses and the Sky Line.
- The long-distance railway station is at the AIRail Terminal, right next to Terminal 1. Trains arrive at and depart from platforms 4 to 7.
- Local railway station for S-Bahn, regional and local trains at Terminal 1, Level 1. Trains arrive at and depart from platforms 1 to 3.
By bus or shuttle
Buses arrive at Terminal 1 at the bus stop in front of the Arrivals halls and at Terminal 2 on Level 2 in front of the Arrivals and Departures halls. Please note that only buses nos. 61, 68, 73 to Kelsterbach and no. 975 travel to Terminal 2. All other buses stop at Terminal 1 only.
By taxi
A large number of taxis are available at both terminals and round the clock. A trip to/from the center of Frankfurt costs about 20 euros and takes 30 min.
Munich Airport
The S-Bahn S1 train from Ostbahnhof (East train station) goes directly to and from Munich Airport via Marienplatz. You can also get to Munich Airport on the S-Bahn S8, from Nannhofen via Pasing. Both S-Bahn trains run every 20 min. in both directions. The journey between the central train station (Hauptbahnhof) and the airport takes about 40 min.
