AIRFARES: U. S. Customs and E-tickets (electronic tickets).

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

- CBP is the division of the Department of Homeland Security. On a typical day, CBP welcomes more than 1.1 million international travelers into the United States.
When you arrive or return to the United States, you will have to go through US Customs and Immigration. On the plane flight, you will be given a U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) entry forms to complete. Whether you are a visitor to the United States or U.S. citizen, each individual arriving into the United States must complete one or more of U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) entry forms.
- The customs officer will ask you about your purpose in this country. Your answers should be short, direct and honest. You will give this CBP entry form completed to the customs officer when you arrive at the airport terminal. You should review the US Customs and Border Protection web site, which provides guidelines for international travelers entering this country.

Things to Consider:
- You are allowed (non U.S. Residents) to bring less than $100 worth of gifts into the United States without paying duty. $800 for U.S. Residents.
- Do not bring any food into the country. It is against the law to bring perishable food products into the United States. This includes fruit, vegetables, meat or plants. If you were given food on the plane, leave it on the plane.
- Linens, clothes, professional equipment and other household items may be brought into the country without paying duty — but only if you have owned them for a while and they are not for resale.
- Products made from certain animal species are forbidden in this country.
- There isn't a limit to how much money you may bring. However, if you are transporting more than $10,000 you must file a report with US Customs.
- Any medications that contain narcotics, or which are administered by a syringe, must be accompanied by a signed prescription from your physician. Penalties for smuggling narcotics are very severe.

4. How to check-in with an e-ticket

- At a check-in machine:

If you travel with carry-on luggage only, you can avoid waiting in a queue at the airport by using one of the automated check-in machines (where available). You can use the same credit card you used for your booking. The machine prints out your boarding card and you can proceed directly to the gate.

- At a check-in counter:

When you check-in your baggage or when you leave from an airport without any automated check-in machines, you can collect your boarding card at a check-in desk. Here you can also use your passport or ID card to identify yourself.

Note: You must show printed proof of travel when entering a US airport. We recommend that you always carry a printed receipt of your e-ticket with you regardless of your destination.

Have a pleasant flight.

With eTicket, there is no paper ticket to misplace, forget, or have stolen.
