Welcome to the Functional Nanomaterials Lab (FuNL)! FuNL is headed by Prof. Osman Bakr of the Materials Science & Engineering Program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). At FuNL, we are dedicated to studying the physics and chemistry of nanomaterials. We are interested in the synthesis, characterization, and assembly of organic and organic-inorganic hybrid nanomaterials of novel optical, electronic and magnetic properties that will become the future building-blocks for solar cells, batteries, photonic and optoelectronic devices. |
