The Webquest helps students gather and research information, but it teaches further beyond that. It helps students learn to analyze and understand the information they find, while simultaneously working together to agree upon findings. Students will take on the role of Thrill Club members, who travel the country riding and analyzing thrilling rides. After placing students in groups of three, they will select three coasters to research, using the suggested sites provided. After gathering necessary information, students will agree upon a "thrilling" definition and decide which coaster they believe to be the most thrilling. Groups will present their information in poster form, with a bar graph and explanations included.
