About Kate

Kate Greene graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1976 and then attended Auburn University and received her BS in Public Administration in 1980.  She received her Masters degree  in Public Policy and Administration at Mississippi State in 1983 and her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Utah in 1988.  Prior to coming to USM in 1989, she taught for a year at Memphis State (University of Memphis) and a year at Denison University.  She is now the second most senior member of the Political Science Department.
