Walking With Suitcases (2009)-- A story about a blindly selfish woman and the impact of her choices on a man and their child. Written for English 581. Dad's Stories (2006)
--I wrote this for an assignment in English 580 at SDSU. I asked my dad to tell me about gifts. Burgundy (2006)--This deals with a very important choice that the law allows women to make. I wrote the framed story as a free-writing exercise in English 280 and completed it in 2006. Six Dollars an Ounce (2006)--Historical fiction. It's not my favorite, but it turned out better than I thought. Thirty-three Blue (2005)--Everyone has to have a misunderstood masterpiece, right? This is the first story I wrote for English 280, I used bits of older pieces and journals to create an intentionally unbalanced character. It's a bit over-the-top, but I get a kick out of it :) The Reader (2004)--A retelling of an extraordinarily vivid dream. | Influences:
