I feel so fortunate to be part of a profession that involves children! I knew from the time I was very young that I wanted to be a teacher. I loved playing school with my friends, siblings and my poor dog – anyone and anything that would be willing to sit long enough! I was so lucky to have had wonderful teachers while going through school so my school memories are wonderful!

I have been involved in the field of education for over 24 years – whether it was teaching in elementary schools, teaching classes through Seattle Pacific University, tutoring, serving on educational committees, developing computer curriculum  for teachers/students, etc. I continue to have a passion for education and working with kids!

In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, taking part in variety of sports (tennis, golf, skiing, hiking, biking, etc.), as well as attending sporting events, reading, and more!

I look forward to working with your children this year. One of my greatest rewards is having students come back and visit and keep in touch over the years. I have students who are now in their 30’s (I hate to admit itJ), with children of their own and are in wonderful careers! Thanks for sharing your children with me!
