Rudolph Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

1 Cup Granulated Sugar

1 Cup Softened Butter

3 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened

1/2 Tsp Salt

1/2 Tsp Almond Extract

1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

1 Egg Yolk

2-1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour

Red Colored M&M's

Chocolate Frosting Gel

Vanilla Frosting Gel

Directions

1. In your mixer or a bowl combine the sugar, butter and cream cheese, salt extracts and yolk and blend well.

2. Stir in flour until blended well. Chill dough for 2 hours or until ready to use. Preheat oven to 375º.

3. On a lightly floured surface roll out the dough, one third at a time to 1/8 thickness. You have to really out some muscle into rolling chilled dough out but once you get it going its butter. Cut into desired cookie shapes. I used a biscuit cutter to make smaller cookies. Place one inch apart and bake for 7-10 minutes or until golden around edges. Cool completely.

For Decorating. Draw out the antlers with the chocolate gel. Squeeze a small dot the vanilla gel on the cookie for the nose and place the red M&M's on top and allow to dry. Simple enough, right.
