Kambah Tennis Club

Fundraising

KTC is undertaking various fundraising activities with the aim of raising enough money to replace the two bottom courts.  If you've got an idea for fundraising or would like to help with any future activities, please contact the committee (see your newsletter for details).

Highlights of the fundraising campaign so far have been:
  • We are currently running a chocolate drive.  If you think you can help by selling a box of chocolates, contact Karenn Layne (see your latest newsletter for contact details).
  • On the 19th of July 2009 the club had a fundraising sausage sizzle at Harvey Norman's warehouse at Hume. The club made around $500 profit which will be put to good use. Thanks to all of those members who contributed an hour or two on the day and to Karenn Layne for organising it.
  • On the 18th of January 2009, we were the "sausage sandwich sellers" at Bunnings, Tuggeranong.  It was a long day from 8:00am until 5:00pm and the Club raised $1200 - a great result.  Special thanks go to Bunnings for all their help and support and to Karenn & Maurie Layne for doing all the organising and to those Club members who took a few hours from their Sunday to come and help out.  If you weren't able to help this time, don't worry, there will be opportunities in the future.
  • The club ran a very successful chocolate drive in 2008.  We raised about $900 over a four month period.
