Access from Reno, NV: US 395 south Glacier Lodge Road west to end Kid Mountain: I climbed up a north-facing gully of Kid Mountain. Surprisingly, there was insufficient snow for a continuous line all the way to the summit plateau. I had to climb up loose scree and talus to the plateau, then walk along the plateau to the summit. At least there were good views from the top. The snow was mostly soft and corn-like. I measured the slope angle in the gully to be 44 degrees.
