Flight Safety Alert - Advisory Frequency 4 Dec 2008

 This alert concerns all aviators who operate in Afghan airspace.  < xml="true" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" prefix="o" namespace="">

The 29th edition of the Afghan Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) has been published with an effective date of 20 November 2008.  One important change in the latest edition is a new advisory frequency.  In accordance with the new AIP, “Afghan Advisory (air-to-air): 125.2 MHz shall be monitored when not in positive contact with a controlling agency.”
