Well, our big day has come and gone. What a great time we had. The pig was delicious, there was enough food for an army and many thanks to Marcia Fish of Alpacas at Orchard Hill for her delicious pies and cobbler. We had about 50 people off and on through the day with spinning demos, fiber for sale and of course, animals on hand. We had a fun little game of "name that fiber" which included Angora Rabbit, Alpaca, Mohair, llama and Sheep Wool.. where participant felts the fiber in paper bags and had to decide what was what.. Didn't we all learn a lesson that day! lol. Our next big venture is the Alpaca Fiber Fest in Old Abilene, KS.. it will be great to see you all again.
