The Fiber Arts Festival at Kaleidoscope is an educational exhibit and workshop series which endeavors to expose the public to textile fibers and their many uses. Our primary goal is to have the public and workshop students see  various forms of fibers transformed into the items, cloth and felt that we use to create practical & usable finished products as well as purely artistic fiber forms. We do this through the visual arts of educational displays, actual hands on demonstrations and student workshops. In addition, we are able to introduce new enthusiasts to the fiber arts by making fibers, items & equipment used in processing that fiber, and finished fiber products available for the public to purchase while maintaining a highly educational event.
