Race: Though human in appearance, Cara is a Kaelin'yFiae. Kaelin'yFiae are shapeshifters that usually only have one or two forms. The design of the form depends on their needs (and in some instances their family tradition).
Occupation: Having quit her previous job, Cara hasn't gotten in any hurry to find another one. She wanders.
Primary Location: Cara lives in Daggit Switch (a city on an island off the upper east coast). She has a home there but barely visits. Daggit Switch is still home. She may never stay in most of the places she travels to, but it's assured that she'll always make her way back to the city on the island.
| Personality
Cara isn't a social butterfly and she may even be a little bit of a bitch, but she does warm up under the right circumstances. She has an extensive surrogate family of aunts, uncles, cousins and siblings. Some days she can even be found mothering them and houses a mooching uncle and respectable little brother.
Physical Description
She has a decent muscular
build but she is also short and slender. Despite not looking very feminine
in figure,
she has feminine attributes that make physical combat a problem for
her. Cara has dainty feet and 'girly' hands. Otherwise her figure is
average if not a little boyish, but due to previous injuries she
has physical defects that
effect her ability to lift or move heavy objects.
Her left shoulder is permanently damaged, which makes lifting more than
100 pounds with both arms painful. If she attempted to lift a heavy
enough weight the muscles in her shoulder risk being damaged to a point
of complete disuse.

Shy-Dog and Other Forms
As a shapeshifter Cara possesses the ability to assume other forms. Presently she only has three other forms.
The first is shy-dog, a large lizard-like form that can be described as a canine. She has learned to speak clearly as shy-dog and being in this body allows her to relax and be more playful than she would normally allow herself to be.
Her front and back
feet have opposable thumbs that make climbing and gripping possible but they are not delicate enough to do anything as advanced as writing.
The second form is a crow and is average in size and shape, the only noticeable difference is that it has green eyes.
The third form is a variation of her human self, it has black hair and blocky shy-dog like stripes that cover the body. Otherwise it isn't any different.

| Daggit Switch: A brief history
Daggit Switch is a fictional city on an island south of Long
Island, where Cara has lived for seven or eight years.
Shortly after her arrival she moved in with a Russian Immigrant named
Ruslan, who taught her some mechanics.
Upon Ruslan's death she 'inherited' his auto shop and a plot of land
(chiefly junkyard) more or less by accident, and has since turned it
into a home where she houses her troop of surrogate family members.
Ruslan also introduced her to Rublu, a cybernetic cat
with a mischief streak a mile long. The auto shop remains indefinitely closed. she is currently living
with Knives Alexander, Rublu and Leo Griffin.
Horse-Play: The horsey business of getting through every day.
People enjoy annoying Cara into outbursts, it is as if it is a right of passage. She seems to be drawn to the trouble-makers, the miss-placed, the
miss-guided and the just plain bat shit crazy. It is the nut balls in life that she
gets along with best.
