The gift art gallery is still seeing frequent updates. I'd also like to list the names of the few of the artists I've commissioned lately that I would recommend. http://kalamu-art.livejournal.com/ (Very good with colors, she has a unique (attractive) style and does an especially good job with anthromorphics). Her prices are very fair, if not a bit on the low side for an artist with her skill. I've had her do a couple of Gale icons: http://www.other-worldly.com/img/gallery/galebykalamu.pnghttp://skysealer.deviantart.com This girl is doing the 100 sketch thing and appears to still have some slots left. It may be a long wait but if you're looking for clean lineart of your character this is the place to get it. She's exceptionally detailed. However these sketches don't come with previews, what she draws is what you get! (Still 100% worth it). I asked her to do a Hhoota for me, which should give an indication of how comfortable she is with detail: http://other-worldly.com/img/gallery/hhootabyskysealer2.pnghttp://nhyra.livejournal.com/ Nhyra does good, cheap lineart of feral characters. Her strong point appears to be canines but she can do other things too. I asked her to do a Kurt/Shy-dog lineart for me: http://www.other-worldly.com/img/gallery/kurtbynhyra.png Naturally, Wolfy and Kit should fit in here somewhere. I'm getting art from them all the time and they turn out some really cute stuff. I recently commissioned Wolfy to draw a Gale for me and she turned out this hilarious picture: http://www.other-worldly.com/img/gallery/galebywolfy.pngKit has done several for me, my standing favorite is actually not posted in the gift art gallery. I'm waiting until I have more doodles from her to combine with it. It's this deviation of Hhoota/Gale doodles she did a while back: http://katanisk.deviantart.com/art/Gale-Doodles-123308439That's http://wolfy-t.deviantart.com and http://katanisk.deviantart.comThe above artists are not the only artists I recommend, but they are the ones who I know to be taking commissions frequently or currently, which is why I chose to post them. You can find the artist's website on each piece posted in the gift art gallery if you'd like to browse. I haven't had any trouble with any of the artists I've commissioned (though keep in mind I am a VERY relaxed buyer. I never ask for changes or updates so I can't give much more feedback than 'they done gewd'). |
