Chaya Leader offers two unique, dynamic workshops in Jewish meditation/Kabbalah meditation

The word Kabbalah means “receiving” and receiving implies giving. In these workshops we practice kabbalistic meditation techniques in order to receive: a reconnection with soul and in order to give: to our self and others.Receive a taste of transformative, empowering Kabbalah meditation

Receive a taste of transformative, empowering Kabbalah meditation

Workshop I:    Opening to Receive

Participants receive instruction in some concepts of

Kabbalah and practice breathing, visualizing and

            focusing.

Workshop II:   Kol Kabbalah—the Sound of Kabbalah

According to ancient kabbalistic books, the world was created with the Hebrew letters: dimensions of space/time and soul. The sound of each letter is the soul level of the letter. In this workshop we chant Hebrew letters words and song, in order to reconnect with the energy of creation and with soul.   Click:    Kol-Kabbalah--the Sound of Kabbalah

In Both Workshops:

The most basic way of receiving is to breath in—receiving the gift of air, the gift of life. And the most basic way of giving is to breathe out [the gift of life for plants who breathe in our carbon dioxide.] One of the Hebrew words for breath is neshima and this word is related to one of the Hebrew words for soul neshama. Conscious breathing is a gateway between body and soul.

In both workshops we initially cultivate mindful awareness-- letting go of the usual worries, plans and reveries that populate the mind in order to create a space for receiving. Then, using the breath and the power of imagination/visualization, we visualize selected Hebrew words of power, either in Hebrew or English transliteration; for example, the word :

אהבה-AHAVAH—Love

Besides the literal meaning of the word love, the Hebrew word AHAVAH is connected to the secret four letter name of the Creator.

 About the Linked-Hearts Logo

The Hebrew letter yod is depicted in the heart on the right. The Hebrew letter heh is depicted in the heart on the left. Together, they spell one of the Hebrew names for God: Yah.
God is one, but each name embodies an aspect of unity. Yod and Heh are the first two letters of the four letter name of God, the Creator: YHVH. Kabbalah is a work of transformation: the person's heart--the emotional level is unified within herself and with other human hearts and becomes a vessel for the full expression of the name. YHVH

Knowledge of  Hebrew is useful for participation in the workshops, but not necessary. Each of the two workshops—for an individual or group--can be experienced in a one-time session or consecutively. Kabbalah, the mystical teachings of Judaism, includes a vast body of literature, commentaries on the Torah, the Hebrew Bible—teachings transmitted from ancient sages. Intellectual study is only one part of Kabbalah;  the practice of Kabbalah is a way of integrating body, mind and soul and is the work of a lifetime.

Location of workshops  Workshops are conducted in person in the city of Tzfat [Safed] Israel or by video conference--Skype or Google Talk

Spiritual Counseling  Chaya offers individualized, personalized spiritual counseling and spiritual healing, including distance healing--through compassionate listening and kabbalistic techniques. Some issues addressed in Spiritual Counseling are: changing limiting core beliefs to more useful beliefs; releasing  non-useful attachments; discovering inner resources of power and joy and reconnecting to soul source. Sessions are conducted --by phone, Google Talk and Skype.
