Our celebration will be hosted by Ms. Lee Ann Kim, local anchor at KGTV Channel 10 News and Executive Director of the San Diego Asian Film Festival. Ms. Angela E. Oh, nationally-recognized attorney, community leader, and author, will be featured as our keynote speaker. KABA-SD and KAC-SD will also present their first Mugunghwa Award to the Hon. Lucy H. Koh, who was appointed to the Santa Clara County bench this year. She is the first Korean American judge in Santa Clara County, and the first Korean American female to be appointed to the bench in the Bay Area. The Hon. Tammy C. Ryu of the Los Angeles Superior Court, who is the first Korean American female judge to be appointed to the bench in California, will administer the oath and install the incoming officers.
