Since they are just starting to read, there are certain areas students can go. For Kindergarten and 1st grade, we have books labeled EZ on the spine with a yellow sticker. They are easy to find. Examples here are Dr. Seuss, Frog and Toad. They are books with easy words and pages for them to read on their own.
We also have some books for the 2nd graders to start reading for A.R. tests. They are small chapter books that are good for them to start testing their comprehension. The tests only have 5 questions.
