We have Accelerated Reader tests at St. Matthew's. When students read an A.R. book, they can take a comprehension test on it. Starting in 3rd grade, students are required to take a certain number of A.R. tests as part of their class. Most classrooms have a computer in the room for taking a test. There is one in the Library if needed after school.
We have many types of books in our library. Most of the books are labeled with the A.R. grade level so students are able to find a right book for them.
