At the Auction in February 2009, we raised money through Fund-A-Need. This year our library would be updated, especially in our non-fiction section. We were extremely out-of-date in this area. So far, we have received two new World Book Encyclopedia sets. One set is regular for our middle school. The other set is for the younger grades and much easier to use. We bought an online subscription to World Book. This means that students can research the encyclopedia on the computer. The great thing with this is it's updated more often than encyclopedias! Students can also access this at home. Students working on a research paper can bring their saved information up at home. We are also adding a new section containing up-to-date biographies. |
