this is a place dedicated to home made (R)emote (O)perated (V)ehicles, particularly of the underwater type, and to those people who build, have built, or are building them. most of the content will be media and information about my own designs and concepts. i do not build ROVs to sell, i build them mostly as a hobby and i bring the information here to share with anybody who may be interested in underwater ROVs or is looking for somewhere to start or is looking for discussion with or about their own. i am not an expert, i don't have any technical degrees that at all pertain to marine physics or mechanics and i have no engineering background, but i am an enthusiast in my own right and i am willing to help find an answer to any question that comes my way. if i cannot answer it i will surely find some one who can. feel free to email me or leave comments if you have any general questions or specific issues about your own ROVs or inquiries about mine. don't forget to check the announcements section!
3 - 11 - 09 this friday will mark a big event as i will be receiving quite a bit of back pay which will enable me to build my second thruster, which i will document, as well as order the trolling bobbers for the UDOSi. i'm glad to see some hits thanks to link addage at Homebuiltrovs.com, i'm so glad i got his support! |  |
