 I grew up in Frankenmuth, MI and graduated from Frankenmuth HS in 1994. After a few years pursuing a degree in chemical engineering, I took some time to re-evaluate my future. Most of this time was spent in Houghton, MI where I still have many good friends. I met my wife, Alex, who encouraged me to get back to school. I graduated from MTU in December of 2007 with a BS-ME. My wife finished her PhD in Geology in the summer of 2008, and we re-located to Grand Forks, ND so she could begin an exciting new career at UND.
