Because so many students have trouble learning the required rhythmic pattern for their scales CORRECTLY (this only applies to North Carolina students), I have created a *.mid file which is designed so you can play/buzz along with it.  Really listen as you play with the recording; this should help both your rhythm and intonation! 

When you click on the link it will ask you to download from a long server location ending in sites.googlegroups.com; that is the correct name on the server.  The filename when it downloads is much simpler.

Each file has 4 beats, before the scale.

Middle School Trombone/Baritone/Tuba:

Bb, Eb, Ab, G, C, F-2 Octaves            Chromatic - 2 Octaves

High School Trombone/Baritone/Tuba Additional Requirements (9th and 10th Grades)

G-2 Octaves, Db, Ab-2 Octaves          Chromatic - Low F to High Ab
                                                            Tuba Chromatic - Low F to High G

Senior High Trombone/Euphonium/Tuba Additional Requirements (11th and 12th Grades)

Bb-2 Octaves, D                                   Chromatic - Low E to High Bb

These are only the NC District/All-State requirements; by the time you're a Senior in High School you should really know ALL 12 major scales and arpeggios AT LEAST two octaves.
