I can't remember my first steps into the world wide web. It must have been in 1998, on an old Pentium I with nothing more than 133MHz.

 

Now, 11 years (and 5 PCs and 1 notebook) later, everything seems to have changed. The Web 2.0 offers everyone the possibility the self-publicize  everything you want to. I'm a blogger, I'm @Twitter, using flickr, Picasa, YouTube; I am logged in on Facebook and does know a little bit about the Web 2.0 and social things. At least I think so.

 

 

Some people ask me, why I'm doing that? Why do I put so much energy in those things (like blogs, Twitter ...). It isn't easy to answer. Maybe I'm an egomaniac?

 

Well, I started blogging in December '05, just because I wanted to try something new. (The internet was boring then) After some months I recognized which great possibilites I now have. And I try to use them, of course.

 

And yeah. The web 2.0 is even in Austria an important thing. But nobody knows that.
