The Judospace Educational Institute staff have arrived in Canberra at the Australian Institute of Sport to prepare for the next residential block of the EJU Level 3 Advanced Coach Award, recognised by the IJF and delivered with the support of the Judo Federation of Australia.
The Programme will follow after the OJU Championships which are being held this weekend.
The Judospace delivery team is Roy Inman OBE 8th Dan, and Dr Mike Callan 6th Dan. The students from Australia have been following the six online modules looking at key coaching topics, they will have two days of lectures on each topic both on the mat and in the classroom, then a further two days of intense assessments.
Those that are successful will be the first coaches in the Southern Hemisphere to achieve the Level 3 Advanced Coach Award.
Coaches interested in developing their players by improving their coaching should visit www.judospace.com or www.judoknowledge.org to find out how to get involved.
