Dr Mike Callan, 6th dan, European Judo Union Judoknowledge Comissioner was invited to present at the 2010 British Judo Association Technical Congress, on the topic "Developments in International Coach Education". The invitation was at the request of the BJA Technical Director, Colin McIver 8th dan.

 

Dr Callan summarised the suite of currently available coaching awards at levels 3, 4, 5 and 6, and took questions from a knowledgeable  and distinguished audience.

 

The session was introduced by BJA technical Officer Chris Doherty 5th dan, himself a graduate of the EJU Level 5 High Performance Coach Award.
