Getting started

Getting started with Maple slideshow builder 

If you are interested in making music slideshow, you can also read this article "Guidelines for  designing picture slideshow".




1. Add Image

You can select multiple files in the file dialog by holding down the "SHIFT" key. 

Synchronized lyric files and mp3 files can be added too. If you're not familiar with ".lrc" file, please read "Add timestamps to song lyric file" at first.







2. Make

A slideshow frame will pop up after building.




3. Design

3.1 Layout the image
All images were centered when being added. You can drag them to a proper location in the layout pane with mouse ( hold down left key). The dimension of images can be changed with mouse wheel or zoom slider on the right side.

Transition, animation and timestamp for each picture can be set in the image list.




 
3.2 Pan and Zoom (Ken Burns effect)

  • Select animation at first
  • Click the left end of the timeline slider below the image, and then drag the image to  the initial location of Kenburns animation with mouse.
  • Click the right end of the timeline slider, and then drag the image to the destination of Kenburns animation with mouse.
 


4. Project management

4.1 Select a build target at first

The default build target is 640x360 slideshow applet.  The slideshow size can not be changed in a project. If you wish to change the size, please create a new project.

If you wish to generate a slideshow video, the build target must be "NTSC image sequence" or "PAL image sequence".




4.2 Project open/save/save as/export
