Hello! It is my pleasure to serve both the Wittenburg and Ellendale communities as your new Assistant Principal. I want to take this opportunity to tell you about myself and my experience in the field of Education. I was born and raised in Southwest Virginia. I earned a BS in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement from Virginia Intermont College. I am presently completing my Masters in School Adminstration from Appalachian State University. I began teaching in Wilkes County. I taught Exceptional Children at Woodward Middle School and K, 2nd, and 3rd grades at Moravian Falls Elementary. While in Wilkes County I earned National Board Certification. Then, I moved to Caldwell County with my family and taught 3rd and 4th grades at West Lenoir School of Technology. I live in Lenoir with my husband Brad. We have three daughters. Rachel is 9, Gracie is 7, Emilee is 3.
