View our new video showcasing some of the exciting retreats offered this past year by the JSC Youth Team. During the 2011-2012 season, our team had the privilege of ministering to over 7,000 young men and women. With an emphasis on incorporating Ignatian Spirituality into daily life, students from all walks of life were led through 1, 2, and 5-day programs offering rest, reflection, and renewal. Check out our testimonials page to see what people are saying about our ministry!![]() The JSC Youth Team is gearing up for our Summer 2012 iPlunge. This year's dates are June 24 - 28, 2012 and July 22 - 26, 2012. Click here for registration documents. In 2007, the JSC Youth Ministry Team launched its first Social Justice retreat program targeted for teenagers in the Greater Cincinnati community. Since that time, thousands of young people have experienced and responded to Christ's call for action in our broken world. On an iPlunge, retreatants engage in hands-on activities: from praise and worship music, high-energy games, and even canoeing to a first hand education about poverty and Catholic Social Teaching by hearing, seeing, and walking in the shoes of another. Students visit some of the agencies that are a part of the solution and participate in a variety of direct service projects. Throughout the week, students will discuss, pray and reflect on the experience and what it has to do with them, their faith, and their community. They will be challenged, motivated, and changed. Music MinistryThis exciting video highlights the JSC Youth Team's music ministry. The incorporation of live music into a retreat model enhances our ability to lead young men and women in the praise and worship of God. |
