2011/2012 is is my 13th year teaching at the Geography Department, University of Minho.

During these years I have tought Tourism Geography (1999 to present), Urban Planning (1999-2006), Theory of Geography (2000-2007, 2009-), Economic Geography (1999-2004), Geography to the Architecture degree (2002/2003), Rural Geography (since 2008), Human Geography of Portugal I (since 2008), Human Geography of Portugal II (since 2008), Transport and Mobility (2008/2009) and Tourism and Planning (2009-)

I have also successfully supervised 2 PhDs (Minho and Curitiba), 17 Masters (strangely enough none at the University of Minho: Aveiro, Isfahan and Tehran!) and 40 final year dissertations.

With the Bologna process that led to the re-structuring of the Geography and Planning degree, my courses for 2011/2012 are Theory in Geography (1st year), Human Geography of Portugal I (3rd year), Rural Geography (3rd year) and Tourism and Planning (Masters degree).
