Linked Workshops with Joycelin Dawes, co-author of The Quest ~ Spiritual Friendship This 3-day weekend is a preparation for people interested in spiritual friendship. An anam cara, or soul friend, is a companion on your spiritual journey, offering a form of mutual spiritual direction. sometimes we meet with our anam cara one-to-one, sometimes in a small group. managing this relationship is assisted when we learn by experience what helps us each deepen our own connection, then reflect on how we may enable this with others. The weekend will be a mixture of being together and reflecting on the process of being together - what is valuable, how we build trust and find ourselves able to give and receive the companionship in depth of a friend on the spiritual journey.
