Linked Workshops with Joycelin Dawes, co-author of The Quest ~ 2009 & 2010 PROGRAMME These workshops are held at Quaker Centres and Retreat Houses. The venues and workshops are open to all. Facilitating Spiritual Friendship This is a two-part ‘hands-on’ training for people interested in facilitating spiritual friendship. An anam cara, or soul friend, is a companion on your spiritual journey, offering a form of mutual spiritual direction. As we learn by experience what helps us deepen our connection, we reflect on how we may enable this with others. We will work variously in pairs, small groups, and all together. You will be encouraged to put these skills into practice in your own community before you return for the second module to review and broaden your experience. Andy came to Quakers over 25 years ago from a Jewish background.
