We are currently working on Number Operations in math. We have reviewed skills in adding and subtracting. We are embarking on learning multiplication. We do this in three ways:

1. understanding the concept (3 groups of 4)

2. practicing our skills daily and memorizing a few more times table facts each day

3. using a program that uses picture clues to help students remember the times tables

It is vital that students know their basic fact recall, and know it well. Please work with your child to practice adding and subtracting facts up to 18, and times tables up to 7x7.
