Brilliant news on leadership displayed by those who should not have to lead ... Least Developed Countries call on the world to stabilise global emissins to 350ppmCO2e My key projects: 1. Engaging in the technology and finance conference streams - fascinating example of rigorous biomethanation project in India today that encompassed major market, industry and regulatory development and was supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) .... ran out of time for a CCS event that sounded great but chatted to people leading research and analysis streams from the IEA ... there is a full day of IEA events at the nearby Sheraton Hotel next week where all the people leading their different projects will be there. 2. Focusing hard on Pacific Islands and small country delegations in great need and greatly under-resourced at COP14. Brilliant development and strategic plan for impacting the equity of negotiations through supporting small country (big climate stake) delegations - we're leading it! Cooke Island already onboard! Yes! 3. Marketing our side-event focused on Australia and it’s neighbouring Pacific Islands Smaller updates 4. Launch of the Australian Government Scorecard Friday 5. Meeting Jan Adams, head of the official Aus Govt Delegation tomorrow at 2:00PM 6. Spreading the word to youth about the brilliant mass dialogues 7. Managing radio interviews - lots of fun 8. Following up on opportunities from The Age, Sydney Morning Herald. 9. Hoping to find content in the Herald Sun after overlanders interviewed with me last night. 10. Gearing up for Major action utilizing the controversial tourism campaign: “where the bloody hell are you?”. December 2 ...
