Journées Boris Ephrussi

Every year, all the PhD students of the “Complexité du Vivant” (CdV) doctoral school and their thesis advisors meet for the “Journée Boris Ephrussi” (JBE) to present their research progress. This meeting aims to be both a place of scientific exchange between the students and a training ground for their written and oral communication, with prizes offered for the best ones.

The CdV doctoral school is a part of the Université Pierre et Marie Curie and is co-acccredited by PSL. It regroups students from many prestigious research institutes like: Institut Pasteur, Institut Curie, ENS, IBPS, UPMC, Collège de France, the Roscoff Marine Biology Research Centre and many others. They cover a broad range of research themes including Genetics, Genomics, Cellular Biology, Developmental Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Bioinformatics, Structural biology, Biochemistry.

Around 200 PhD students attend

the JBE each year, it is one of

the major events of the CdV

doctoral school life!
